Every record in the platform belongs to one of six data layers. Each is tracked and labelled separately.
- Incident
- Realized violence or a confirmed operational event.
- Impact
- Confirmed consequence linked to an incident.
- ITA
- Interception and Threat Activity: attempted, intercepted, or unsuccessful threats that did not result in a confirmed qualifying incident. Realized strikes with damage or casualties belong in the Incidents database, not the ITA layer.
- Signal
- Strategically meaningful statement, declaration, warning, reassurance, or doctrine-related message.
- Outlook
- Analytical assessment derived from verified internal data.
- Published Alert
- Editorial alert published by Remarks OPV.
